Energy Scenario – India

The World energy situation has been changed dramatically over the last 15-20 years. There have been significant increases in the prices of oil, coal and other conventional sources. All these conventional sources excluding the hydroelectricity are going to be consumed after some time.

The Indian Energy scenario is complex and facing many problems. Through out the country, energy crisis looms as a critical ruling factor at some point of time every year. The demand for is increasing day by day with the increase in population. With the liberalization of Indian economy, many foreign Companies are setting up their facilities in India. However, a major handicap for faster implementation of projects remains infrastructure, with energy supply the principle factor. Various strategies needs to be adopted as energy conservation, better efficiency in power generation & utilization, but the gap is bound to exit. One major way of bridging the gap is use of renewable energy technologies such as SOLAR, WIND, BIOMASS etc…..

Solar Energy

The earth receives 170000 million MW of energy from the SUN, which is about 18000 times the world’s present energy consumption. The SUN’s energy has emerged and proved as one of the fastest growing and reliable source and technologies being rapidly developed and ushered in to tap this source.

It is economical, reliable, available aplenty, can be tapped anywhere for anybody and is ECO FRIENDLY.
